Sharp & Hamilton / Nashville Plow Works. These were early war Confederate Cavalry sabers with a similar look to Starr manufactured sabers. Brass cast guard Grip is thin leather with very fine twisted brass wire. The pommel is a larger width on this example than most examples. These sabers are quite scarce but very interesting to collectors because of many variations in manufacturing.
